Powered by a choice of 4- and 6-cylinder turbo engines, the BMW Z4 offers enthusiastic handling and features a retractable hardtop roof.
A 2-liter 4-cylinder turbo with 240 hp replaces the former entry-level 6-cylinder for 2012. The new engine is available with either a 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic.

The 2012 BMW Z4 Roadster is powered by a base 2.0-liter Inline-4 turbocharged with 240 hp. Other available engines include a 3.0-liter Inline-6 twin-turbocharged with 300 hp and a 3.0-liter Inline-6 twin-turbocharged with 335 hp.
