For 2011 all Toyota Highlander models get a fresh look with a new hood, fenders, grille and front fascia, plus tweaked taillamps. Standard on all 2011 Toyota models is Smart Stop Technology, while Highlander SE and Limited models come with Bluetooth, XM Satellite Radio, and a USB port.

A rearview camera is available for base models.

For 2010, all Toyota Highlander models are available with a power tilt-and-slide moonroof. V6-powered models come standard with a multi-information display that includes a back-up camera.

The mid-range Sport model is being replaced by the Highlander SE, which is more near-luxury and less sporty.

After are thorough redesign for the 2008 model year, the Toyota Highlander introduces a new 4-cylinder base engine for 2009.

The 2.7-liter Inline-4 is mated to a 6-speed automatic and available with front-wheel-drive only. The 4-cylinder Highlander comes equipped similar to the base V6 models.
