The Mitsubishi Lancer GTS receives a more powerful 2.4l 4-cylinder engine for 2009.
In addition, the Lancer Ralliart joins the lineup below the Evolution, which it also shares its engine with, though in detuned form. The Ralliart receives the dual-clutch transmission from the Evo MR and a less sophisticated all-wheel-drive. Standard features include sport bucket seats, a unique aero package, fog lights, and 18-inch wheels.

The Mitsubishi Lancer enters the 2008 model-year in totally redesigned form, with aggressive styling, a more powerful engine, a well-designed interior, and good handling. Standard equipment is scarce, though, with ABS, air-conditioning, and power-locks available only as options.
