Powered by 1.6l four-cylinders in either normally aspirated or supercharged form, the Mini Cooper shines with excellent handling and comes in hatchback bodystyle only.
After its inroduction in 2002 and no changes for 2003, the Mini Cooper receives only minor revisions for the 2004 model year. These include a digital speedometer readout under the tachometer and a real-time fuel-consumption meter to the on-board computer. A new limited-edition model has been introduced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Paddy Hopkirk's legendary win of the famed Monte Carlo Rally in 1964 in a Mini Cooper S.
The 2004 Mini Cooper Coupe is powered by a base 1.6-liter Inline-4 with 115 hp. Also available is a 1.6-liter Inline-4 supercharged with 163 hp.
