For 2010, the Ford Fusion receives some exterior revisions, most notably on the front end, a higher quality interior, and more powerful engines. The previous V6 remains but now produces 240 hp, the old 2.3L inline-4 is replaced by a 2.5L unit, and a new 3.5L V6 powers Sport models.

A new Hybrid version joins the lineup with excellent fuel economy.

For 2007, the Ford Fusion comes standard with the previously optional side-impact and curtain airbags, while Fusion SE models add fog lights. Sirius satellite radio and DVD navigation are optional, as is a folding front passenger seatback on SE and SEL models.
All-wheel-drive is optional on V6 models for 2007.

All-new for 2006, the Ford Fusion is the spiritual successor to the Ford Taurus, though it is a little smaller. Powered by 4- and 6-cylinder engines, the front-wheel-drive Ford Fusion combines unique looks with sporty, yet comfortable handling. Standard features include air con, but ABS and side-airbags come as an option only.
