For 2009, the Ford Focus Coupe gains a more distinct identity from the sedan with its own front and rear bumper fascias, a dark chrome grille, and fog lights. A roof spoiler and 17-inch dark chrome aluminum wheels come on the Focus Coupe SES.

The Ford Focus enters the 2008 model year thoroughly redesigned, available only in sedan and coupe bodystyles. Still based on the previous generation's platform, the new car is available with only one engine, but retains the good handling of its predecessors.

For 2005, Ford has upgraded the Focus with new engines and some exterior revisions. Gone is the previous SVT, which is somewhat replaced by the ZX4 ST sedan, which is the only model in the lineup available with a 2.3L engine. All other models come powered by a new 2.0L 4-cylinder with 136hp. The interior has been revised with cleaner look.
