The Ford F150 enters the 2009 model year completely redesigned and improves on its predecessors strengths. Sporting a more angular exterior, the new F150 still features more than 65 variations, most of which similar to the previous model. New is an exclusively-equipped Platinum trim on Super Crew models featuring unique grille, bumpers, wheel-lip moldings, 20-in. wheels, and interior appointments.

For 2008, the Super Crew is available in XL-trim with a 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed. STX adds a Wheels and Stripes package, while XL and STX models with the manual transmission now come with a tachometer. Heavy-duty packages add a tire pressure monitor.

Available in more than 65 variations with 5.5-ft, 6.5ft, and 8.0-ft beds, Regular Cab, Super Cab, and Super Crew Cab styles, and optional AWD, the Ford F150 is larger than its predecessor, offers better handling, and a higher-quality interior. Properly equipped, it can also tow up to 11,300 pounds.
