New Models Buying Guide
Bodystyle: SUV Class: Compact SUV
Completely redesigned for 2013, the Ford Escape features updated and more sporty looks, but retains a versatile interior with plenty of cargo space. In contrast to the previous version, the V6 has been dropped in favor of a 4-cylindet turbo. Two further 4-cylinders are available, as is four-wheel-drive. All models feature excellent handling. |

For the 2009 model year, all Ford Escape models receive standard cruise control.
In addition, the Escape receives more power across the line, courtesy of a new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that replaces the old 2.3-liter powerplant on both the standard models and the Hybrid, and a stronger V6 that now produces 240hp. |
