For 2011, Chevrolet has improved the Corvette with some modest changes. Larger, cross-drilled brake rotors are now offered on base models. The Z06 gets Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Gen 2 tires and revised exhaust tuning. New packages include a Z07 package with ceramic brakes and Magnetic Selective Ride Control, as well as a Carbon Fiber package.

For 2010, all Chevy Corvettes get standard side airbags, while manual transmission models come with standard Launch Control.
A Grand Sport model replaces the previous Z51 handling package. The Grand Sport shares its brakes and tires with the high-performance Z06 and features wider bodywork, a wider track, and a racing-tuned suspension.

For 2009, the limited-production high-performance Corvette ZR1 joins the lineup. Powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 638hp, the ZR1 features Brembo ceramic brakes, lighter-weight aluminum chassis components of the Z06, and carbonfiber for the roof, hood, and front fenders.

Convertibles are available in a lower-priced 1LT trim.

The Chevy Corvette lineup was expanded by a 505hp Z06 version in 2006. 2008 brings an all-new, more powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine for the Chevy Corvette Coupe and Convertible.

New standard features include OnStar, XM Satellite Radio, an auxiliary audio input jack, and auto-dimming mirrors.

The Chevrolet Corvette is thoroughly redesigned for 2005. The Corvette C6 benefits from a stronger engine, more rigid chassis, and improved suspension. Overall a much better car than its predecessor, the 2005 Corvette is available in coupe and convertible bodystyles. A Z06 version is not available.
