Powered by a strong V8, the Cadillac Escalade comes in three bodystyles. SUV versions offer seating for up to nine, while the EXT seats five. All-wheel-drive is an option, a Hybrid is available.
Powered by 4- and 6-cylinder engines, the Chevrolet Malibu features a handsome and modern exterior, a spacious and attractive interior, a smooth ride, and well-controlled handling.
One of America's best-selling vehicles for decades, the Silverado offers three cab and several bed sizes and comes powered by a choice of six- and eight-cylinder engines. A Hybrid is available.
The Ford Escape comes powered by four- and six-cylinder engines, offers space for five, and offers a comfortable ride. All-wheel-drive is available, as is a gas-saving Hybrid.

Powered by a choice of V8 engines, the Lexus LS is one of the quietest vehicles and offers an excellent combination of comfort, space, and features. A Hybrid version and AWD are available.
Powered by a standard 2.5-liter 4-cyl. or an optional V6, the Nissan Altima is one of the sportiest entries in its class. A Hybrid version with Toyota-sourced components is available.

Available with gas and hybrid drivetrains, the Toyota Highlander offers good built quality and a versatile interior with space for up to seven passengers.
Powered by a Hybrid 4-cylinder engine, the Toyota Prius manages excellent fuel economy while offering seating for five and generous cargo space. It is not strong on performance, though.
