The Ford Escape comes powered by a choice of four-cylinder engines with optional 4WD. The Escape offers space for five, sporty looks and excellent handling.
The Ford Escape receives several detail changes for 2014, including SYNC and a rear-view camera across the lineup. The SEL trim is dropped from the lineup, while Titanium and SE trims receive new option packages with more equipment. The Titanium also adds leather seat-upholstery and rear parking assist and now comes powered by the 1.6-liter turbo engine, with the 2.0-liter powertrain still available as an option.
The 2014 Ford Escape SUV is powered by a base 2.5-liter Inline-4 with 168 hp. Other available engines include a 1.6-liter Inline-4 turbocharged with 178 hp and a 2.0-liter Inline-4 turbocharged with 240 hp.
