Powered by a choice of V6 and Hemi V8 engines, the Dodge Charger features bold styling, sporty handling, and a spacious and comfortable interior.
For 2009, the Dodge Charger gets a new taillight design, the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 gains power, and all-wheel-drive models get an Active Transfer Case. SE models add alloy wheels, additional interior chrome trim, and more equipment, while the SRT8 model adds more standard equipment and a retuned suspension. The SRT8 also adds a different Super Bee package. Front side and curtain side airbags now optional instead of standard on most models.
The 2009 Dodge Charger Sedan is powered by a base 2.7-liter V6 with 178 hp. Other available engines include a 3.5-liter V6 with 250 hp, a 5.7-liter V8 with 368 hp and a 6.1-liter V8 with 425 hp.
