Bodystyle: Sedan The Dodge Avenger was all-new for 2008 and initially came in three trim levels. For 2009, the previous base SE trim is renamed to SXT. The former SXT trim is not available any longer. Instead, the R/T trim now features a standard 4-cylinder, but remains available with a V6. All-wheel-drive, initially proposed for 2008, is not available.

Bodystyle: Sedan The Dodge Avenger is all-new for 2008 and replaces the Stratus. The Avenger comes with bold exterior styling and a nice-looking, functional interior with reasonable family room. Its three engines are coupled to automatics only, with all-wheel-drive available as an option. Apart from comprehensive safety equipment, notable standard features include the Chill Zone, a cooled compartment in the glove box.
