Changes to the Chevrolet HHR lineup are primarily cosmetic for 2010. Three new exterior colors are available, as well as a revised Cashmere interior color scheme. In addition, a rear-view camera is an option.

For 2009, the Chevrolet HHR receives several detail changes, including XM Satellite Radio, anti-lock brakes, Stabilitrak, and roof-rail side-curtain airbags.
SS models are available with an optional SS Performance Package, which includes Brembo four-piston front brake calipers and a limited-slip differential. The HHR Panel is now available in SS Trim.

For 2008, the Chevrolet HHR lineup is expanded by a performance SS model.

The Chevrolet HHR SS comes powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, performance handling suspension, 18-inch polished alloy wheels, SS embroidered seats, a rear spoiler, and other items.
