After its introduction for the 2005 model year, the Chevrolet Cobalt offers a performance-oriented SS trim for 2006. Available with both coupe and sedan bodystyles, the Cobalt SS comes powered by a 2.4l 4-cylinder with 171 hp and features special body-color trim, upgraded cloth seat-upholstery, a sport-tuned suspension, and 17-inch wheels with high performance tires.
